I apologize for my long absence - I have a new part time job, with the full time job of Mom, chauffeur, cook, maid etc. it doesn't leave much time for art. Yes, after being a stay-at-home mom and artist for a lot longer than I had planned I am now working every morning Monday thru Friday. It's been an adjustment and we're still adjusting. The paycheck is really nice though! But I do miss all the time to create and draw and just be inspired.

I did these sketches last weekend, 2 of my 3 cats and a very cool, funky looking plant that I have.

Love your sketches! Yes we need to make time for art:) I try to squeeze it in whenever possible. I keep a bag in my car of things to do all the time. Thanks for your comments on my free motion stitching. I need a lot of practice, but it is fun!
