These are some of my latest sketches. The feathers I did Sunday morning in pen and ink, I thought they turned out pretty well. The coffee cup this morning did not turn out too well so I didn't have a problem journaling around it. The top picture is my desk - EDM challenge #9, of course it's supposed to be an organized mess, but what can I say? It's an avalanche waiting to happen....... God knows what I would find under all this! It's fairly accurate except that my camera is huge compared to the computer screen, but I'm pretty happy with it, that I actually drew a representation of this mess. And now that I've thoroughly embarrassed myself by showing you my messy desk, I guess I better get with the program and clean it off!

these are very good, I know what you mean about the pen being unforgiving, but like Danny says, there are no wrong marks just go with it!!
Yeah for the PEN! Loved seeing your desk, makes me feel better that others are more in to creating than organizing too. The Feathers are fun, love the whispy curls. Keep on going, your doing great!
Nice sketches. The feathers are great. And your desk, it's not messy, it's creative! (that's what I tell myself when I enter my kid's room...)

I have yet to make friends with the pen you are doing much better than I am nice job - Love the desk & feathers-- I also love the coffee-- I am going to go make a big pot of decaf put in some equal and some french vanilla creamer and put it all in the fridge mmmmm mmmm good! I drink it iced too. its like a coffee milk shake
What does a clean desk do but get messy again! Your table is no messier than mine and I have now spread that mess to three tables. Your feathers are great - bet they took a lot of patience. I really love your red dried rose in an earlier posting. All your pictures are great. You'll enjoy seeing this coffee mug and reading your journal page even if it isn't your best drawing.

Nice sketches. I smiled when I saw the desk. I'm not the only one with a messy work area! Creativity just seems to be a messy business. When I finish a journal entry I feel good but then look up and ask "who lives here?".
