I've gotten out of practice sketching, trying to do better at that... I did this pear study last night. Just a quick study, although I can see the pears need shading, they look flat. I've been working on my other art, collage, quilting etc and have not been keeping up on my sketching. It's hard to do it all!

So vibrant1 Love it. I also enjoyed your other blog. I think we can beat ourselves up for not getting to this and that and still do this and that...nature of our beast. but it is always refreshing for me to come back around.

Actually I'm a little relieved that I'm not the only one who struggles to get it all done. I love the blogging but then it fuels it's own brand of guilt when I don't get around to doing it, and when I don't check everybody else....I have no idea why. Nobody is forcing me to blog. I just love that you are still doing art...that's the important thing!
Oh how I sometimes wish there were only one thing I wanted to do! I have so many things in progress right now (the sweater I started last year and am almost finished with, the elephant ornament I'm making for my niece, the creative lettering class I'm taking, trying to complete one art thing each day, yadda, yadda, yadda ... then there's my blog). I can't imagine having 2 blogs to manage. I'm crazy enough already! lol I do love seeing what you've been doing, though. It's very inspiring. nancy
