Keep in mind, I'm not good at drawing people... I was so glad I took my sketchbook with us the day hubby went in for surgery on his hand. It was outpatient and wasn't supposed to take that long but we ended up being there almost all day. I did this spread, and another 3-4 while we were there. If I hadn't had my sketchbook I would have been bored to death!!!
Anyway, his surgery went well and he's almost healed up...

I've learned to take a bag of stuff to every doctor or hospital visit. They almost always run long. I take several things as well as the sketchbook. Book to read,sometimes even crochet work. Makes waiting a lot easier.
