And more new sketches...

I am really liking my Hibiscus plant this winter! It blooms almost every week in my front window, bringing some brightness to dull winter days. And also providing something beautiful to draw on a regular basis!

If you're having the winter doldrums like I am I hope this cheers you up!

So pretty...and so delicate! I envy you with yours blooming. Mine are being naughty lately. I have two plants and neither have bloomed in a while. They got so leggy, that I cut them back...but I did it at the proper time. They may feel too naked to bloom...(smile). It will soon be time to put them in larger pots...that may be the one of the reasons they're not blooming. I've had them for several years and they're large plants. Mine are the reddish-orange colored...but I love ALL the different colors of the hisbicus flowers. I've had to paint mine from photos I took. I'd much rather paint them in the real!
