I love drawing flower seed packets! They're so bright and cheerful and I'm chomping at the bit to get planting! Only about 4 more weeks! I have never gotten poppies to grow, maybe I'll try them again. Can't wait to play in the dirt again and plant my veggie garden!!!

I'm watching my wife go through the same chomping at the bit. She's been growing some from seeds inside to beat some time out of mother nature, too. It's a good time of year. Good idea to sketch seed packets! They do provoke a frenzy in gardeners.
It looks like spring! Yay! I can hardly wait. I planted Icelandic Poppies once and they grew beautifully into very tall stalks with huge, gorgeous orange blossoms. Then we had some work done around the perimeter of the house and my flowers were all torn down!!!! I'm still upset and that was at least 15-20 years ago.
